We went horsebacking at an old cattle ranch near the volcano named Rincon(Mommy said it's a hacienda) two days ago. I got to ride my own horse and so did William. Leonard rode with Mommy. I got the meanest horse of all. She kicked at William's horse and Mommy's too and she didn't want to follow the other horses at the beginning or the end. I just held on tight and didn't fall off. We rode our horses to see a waterfall and we left them tied to a tree while we hiked the last of the way in.
The waterfall was big and my dad went under it. I didn't go under the waterfall but I put my head under the water at least six times. William didn't go under because the water was so cold. Mommy went under too while Leonard threw rocks.
The waterfall was beautiful. We had to change our clothes behind a rock. The water was really clear and sparkling and there were huge rock walls. I was glad they didn't fall on us.
That was the second waterfall we swam in. Daddy always checks to make sure the current isn't too strong before we get in. Always when we leave a hotel Daddy checks to make sure we don't leave anything behind.
Leonard's new favorite words are "Darn it" and "This hard work, Mommy."

The horse back riding and ducking under the waterfall sound like fun! Regarding Leonard's newly acquired vocabulary, remind me to tell you what my Aunt Norma said at age three when the preacher was visiting her home! Then again, maybe I won't tell you yet. You are having a fantastic time and we're so glad to read what you've been doing. Love, Other
